OECD Council adopts Recommendation for Further Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions

On 26 November, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Council has adopted the 2021 Recommendation for Further Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions (revised 2009 Recommendation). With its revised Recommendation, the OECD aims to address challenges, good practices and cross-cutting issues that have emerged in the global anti-corruption landscape during those past years. The final text, as well as additional information, is accessible via this link. A special launch event for the Recommendation is going to take place on 9 December 2021.
